International yoga day was celebrated with much enthusiasm and fanfare in all Sainik Schools across the country on 21 June 2023. Various activities such as Poster design competition, drawing competition, Slogan writing competition were organised to sensitise young cadets towards living a very active life which encompasses Yoga in both Physical and Spiritual forms.

We want to make readers aware of the fact that Cadets at Sainik Schools already have a very active daily routine. Their day starts very early in morning with a rigorous physical training under guidance of trained Army Physical Training Staff coaches. Apart from morning PT, Cadets are involved in evening games and compulsory NCC training. 

On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2023, Principal and staff at Various Sainik Schools advocated to students the path of yoga for a fulfilling life.
